DawaGate Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 5th October, 2026
Welcome to DawaGate. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the DawaGate website, platform, patient services, and related digital services. By creating an account or using DawaGate, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About DawaGate
DawaGate is a digital healthcare platform designed to connect patients with independent healthcare professionals and service providers, including doctors, pharmacies, laboratories, radiology centers, and home healthcare providers.
DawaGate facilitates access to and coordination of healthcare services but does not replace the professional judgment of licensed healthcare professionals.
2. Healthcare Services
Medical consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions, treatment decisions, laboratory services, radiology services, dispensing of medicines, and other professional healthcare services are provided by the relevant healthcare professional or service provider.
Each healthcare professional or provider remains responsible for the professional services they provide, subject to applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards.
DawaGate does not guarantee a particular diagnosis, treatment outcome, medicine availability, test result, or healthcare outcome.
3. Patient Accounts and Information
Users must provide accurate and reasonably complete information when creating or updating their accounts and should keep relevant health and contact information current.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and should promptly notify DawaGate if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Information provided through DawaGate should not be deliberately false, misleading, or submitted on behalf of another person without appropriate authority.
4. Privacy and Health Information
Personal and health information is handled in accordance with the DawaGate Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
Healthcare providers do not automatically receive access to a patient’s complete health record. Access to information is intended to be limited according to the provider’s role and the information reasonably required to provide the relevant service.
For example, a pharmacy may receive the relevant prescription and information required for dispensing or delivery, while a laboratory may receive the relevant laboratory request and information required to perform the requested tests.
5. Consultations and Prescriptions
Doctors are independently responsible for determining whether a consultation can appropriately be provided through the available consultation method and for making professional decisions concerning diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, referrals, investigations, and follow-up.
Submission of a consultation request does not guarantee that a prescription, laboratory request, radiology request, referral, or particular treatment will be issued.
Prescriptions and other medical instructions issued through DawaGate remain subject to applicable professional and legal requirements.
6. Pharmacies, Laboratories, Radiology and Other Providers
Participating providers are responsible for the services they perform, including medicine dispensing, laboratory testing, diagnostic procedures, reports, home healthcare services, delivery arrangements, and compliance with their applicable professional and regulatory obligations.
Availability, timing, pricing, service areas, and fulfilment may vary between providers.
7. Fees and Payments
Prices and applicable charges should be presented to the user where relevant before confirmation or payment.
The amount charged may include healthcare professional or provider fees, DawaGate platform/service fees, and other applicable charges.
Cancellation, refund, rescheduling, and payment rules may vary according to the type and status of the service and will be subject to the applicable DawaGate policy and any relevant provider terms.
8. Emergency Medical Situations
DawaGate is not an emergency medical service.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency or a potentially life-threatening condition, do not rely on DawaGate or wait for an online consultation. Seek immediate emergency medical assistance through the appropriate local emergency services or nearest suitable healthcare facility.
9. Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse DawaGate, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or data, interfere with platform security or operation, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent information, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
DawaGate may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect patients, providers, other users, the platform, or to comply with applicable requirements.
10. Platform Availability
DawaGate aims to provide reliable access to its services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Services may occasionally be unavailable or delayed because of maintenance, technical problems, communications failures, provider availability, third-party systems, or circumstances outside DawaGate’s reasonable control.
11. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DawaGate is responsible for operating and administering the DawaGate platform and its own services but is not intended to assume the independent professional responsibilities of doctors, pharmacies, laboratories, radiology centers, home healthcare providers, or other healthcare professionals and providers using the platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12. Intellectual Property
The DawaGate name, branding, website, platform design, software, content, and related materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit protected DawaGate materials without appropriate authorization.
13. Changes to Services or Terms
DawaGate may update its services and these Terms & Conditions as the platform, healthcare services, technology, or applicable requirements evolve.
The current version will be published on the DawaGate website with its latest revision date. Material changes may be communicated through the platform where appropriate.
14. Applicable Law
These Terms & Conditions and use of DawaGate are subject to the applicable laws and regulations of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without limiting any mandatory rights or protections available under applicable law.
