Last Updated: 5th October, 2026
The information and services available through DawaGate are intended to facilitate access to healthcare professionals and healthcare service providers. DawaGate is a digital healthcare platform and does not replace the independent professional judgment of a licensed healthcare professional.
1. Medical Advice and Professional Responsibility
Medical consultations, assessments, diagnoses, treatment decisions, prescriptions, referrals, laboratory or radiology requests, and follow-up recommendations are made by the healthcare professional responsible for the patient’s care.
Healthcare professionals using DawaGate remain independently responsible for their professional decisions and services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards.
2. Online Consultations
Online consultations may not be appropriate for every medical condition. A doctor may determine that an in-person examination, additional investigation, referral, or emergency assessment is necessary before providing a diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.
Using DawaGate does not guarantee that a doctor will issue a prescription, request an investigation, provide a particular diagnosis, or recommend a specific treatment.
3. Prescriptions and Medical Requests
Any prescription, laboratory request, radiology request, referral, or other medical instruction issued through DawaGate is created by the responsible healthcare professional based on their independent professional assessment.
DawaGate does not prescribe medicines, select treatments, or alter a healthcare professional’s prescription or medical decision.
The healthcare professional issuing the prescription or request remains professionally responsible for its medical content.
Pharmacies, laboratories, radiology centers, and other providers remain independently responsible for correctly and professionally performing the services they provide.
4. Patient Information
Healthcare decisions may depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information available to the healthcare professional.
Patients should provide accurate and relevant information regarding their symptoms, medical history, allergies, current medications, previous conditions, and other information reasonably required for their care.
DawaGate cannot guarantee the appropriateness of a healthcare decision where relevant information has not been provided, is inaccurate, or is unavailable to the healthcare professional.
5. Laboratory and Radiology Results
Laboratory results, radiology reports, and other diagnostic information available through DawaGate are produced by the relevant laboratory, radiology center, or diagnostic provider.
Results and reports should be interpreted by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional in the context of the patient’s clinical condition and should not normally be relied upon by patients for self-diagnosis or self-treatment.
6. Medicines
Patients should use medicines only in accordance with the instructions of the prescribing healthcare professional and any applicable dispensing instructions.
Do not change the prescribed dose, discontinue treatment, substitute medicines, or use another person’s prescription without appropriate professional medical advice.
7. No Guaranteed Outcome
Healthcare outcomes vary between individuals. DawaGate does not guarantee the outcome of any consultation, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, investigation, procedure, or other healthcare service arranged or accessed through the platform.
8. Emergency Medical Situations
DawaGate is not an emergency medical service.
If you have symptoms that may represent a medical emergency or potentially life-threatening condition, do not wait for an online consultation or rely on DawaGate. Seek immediate medical assistance through the appropriate emergency services or nearest suitable healthcare facility.
9. Independent Healthcare Providers
Doctors, pharmacies, laboratories, radiology centers, home healthcare providers, and other healthcare professionals or organizations accessible through DawaGate provide their respective professional healthcare services subject to their own professional responsibilities and applicable regulatory requirements.
DawaGate facilitates access, communication, coordination, and digital healthcare workflows between patients and healthcare providers but does not assume the independent clinical or professional responsibilities of those providers.

By using DawaGate healthcare services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Medical Disclaimer together with the applicable Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
