No. Clinical decisions remain with qualified healthcare professionals.
Patients
How do I create a patient profile?
When the patient platform is available, follow the registration steps and provide the requested account and relevant health information.
What information can I keep in my profile?
Supported information may include medical history, medications, allergies, prescriptions, lab results, radiology reports, uploaded documents and relevant care history.
Can I upload previous medical documents?
Yes, where the platform supports document upload.
Can I review previous healthcare information later?
Yes. Supported information in the patient profile can contribute to a continuing care history.
How can I consult a doctor?
You may schedule an available consultation or request Consult Now when an appropriate participating physician is available.
Does every consultation result in a prescription?
No. A prescription is issued only when the physician considers it clinically appropriate.
Who decides what happens after the consultation?
The physician determines the appropriate next step based on the clinical assessment.
How do I receive test results?
Where provider integration is supported, a result or report may return to the patient profile for review and follow-up.
Will I be notified when results are available?
Patient and physician notifications may be sent through supported notification methods where integrated.
Doctors
How can a doctor join DawaGate?
Create a professional profile and complete DawaGate onboarding and applicable verification requirements.
How does doctor verification work?
DawaGate will independently verify each physician’s professional licence, registration and eligibility to practise with the relevant healthcare authorities and government regulatory bodies before activation, with periodic re-verification where required.
Can doctors choose when they are available?
Yes. The future physician workflow supports conceptual AVAILABLE NOW and scheduled availability settings.
How does Consult Now work?
The doctor marks AVAILABLE, an appropriate request may be routed, the physician reviews and accepts it, then the online consultation begins.
Can doctors see patient information?
Only relevant information available through the platform and appropriate to the consultation, subject to access controls.
What can a doctor do after consultation?
The physician may issue a prescription, request laboratory or radiology services, arrange follow-up or referral, or identify an appropriate home-healthcare pathway.
Does DawaGate tell doctors what to prescribe?
No. Prescribing decisions remain with the physician.
Pharmacies
Can pharmacy chains join DawaGate?
Yes. The model supports an organization profile with independently managed branch profiles.
Does each branch have its own profile?
Yes. Each location can maintain its own contacts, hours, capabilities and operational information.
Can each branch define its own service area?
Yes, conceptually through geographic service-area configuration when the operational workflow is available.
Can pharmacies set working hours and service constraints?
Yes. Branch hours, availability and fulfillment constraints can be configured in the planned workflow.
Can a pharmacy accept or decline a request?
Where the fulfillment workflow allows it, a branch may respond based on its ability to fulfill the request.
Can pharmacies contact the patient or doctor?
Appropriate clarification pathways may be supported where operationally available.
Can pharmacies change the doctor’s prescription?
Not independently where physician authorization is required.
Can patients review pharmacy service?
Yes, after an appropriate completed-service workflow where feedback is supported.
Does rating alone determine which pharmacy receives an order?
No. Suitability, location, availability, fulfillment capability and other operational factors may also be considered.
Labs & Radiology
How do diagnostic providers receive physician requests?
Through a DawaGate-connected workflow where provider integration is enabled.
Can DawaGate integrate with laboratory or radiology systems?
The planned architecture can support LIS, RIS, PACS and API connections; this does not claim that every integration is currently live.
Who provides preparation instructions?
The diagnostic provider and/or ordering clinician provides instructions according to the relevant service and protocol.
Does every lab test require fasting?
No. Requirements vary by test and provider protocol.
Does every MRI require fasting?
No. Requirements vary by examination and protocol.
How are diagnostic services paid?
Payment is processed through the participating provider’s own payment system or process.
What happens when results are ready?
Where integrated, the result or report may return to DawaGate, appear in the patient profile, notify the patient and physician, and support physician review.
Does DawaGate interpret the result automatically?
No. Professional interpretation and clinical decisions remain with qualified professionals.
Can patients and doctors provide feedback?
Feedback may be supported after appropriate completed workflows.
Home Healthcare
What home-healthcare services may be available?
Services may include doctor visits, nursing, higher-dependency care, home laboratory and diagnostics, rehabilitation, elderly and long-term care, post-hospital care, maternal and pediatric care, supportive care, and respiratory or medical equipment support.
Does DawaGate itself provide home healthcare?
No. Services are delivered by participating providers within their professional scope.
Can I request a doctor at home?
Where available through an appropriate participating provider.
Do some home services require a physician order?
Yes, depending on the service and applicable clinical and professional requirements.
Is Home Healthcare an emergency service?
No. Emergencies require the appropriate emergency medical service or hospital care.
How are home-healthcare providers matched?
Matching may consider service, location, availability, capability, applicable clinical requirements and other operational criteria.
Payments
How are doctor consultation fees paid?
Where a fee applies, the patient reviews it before confirmation and payment may be processed through DawaGate’s approved payment solution.
How are Lab or Radiology services paid?
Through the participating provider’s own payment system or process.
How are pharmacy payments handled?
The operational pharmacy payment model has not been finalized; the applicable terms will be shown in the relevant workflow.
How are Home Healthcare services paid?
Payment arrangements depend on the participating provider and service model and will be presented as the relevant workflow is implemented.
